Filling a writ to an unmanned office via post is a trick as old as time. My favourite is when they send documents via email to your company default email ([email protected]) rather than your legal team email that you have been corresponding on. It is extremely petty and vexatious, generally meaning that there is little substance to the claim. If I worked for the BUD team I'd have the claim dismissed without much worry. I would then simply report their behavious as a breach of their solicitors' duty to the court in their filling behaviours and try to get costs awarded.
literally nothing to see here. Worst case is basic legal fees being added to the quarterly financials. I expect a price drop to bring us in line with the general market over past 7 days, we're very lucky we were not listed!
