Yes AZJ probably over paid for the acquisition, but these types of acquisitions come along very very rarely, and Macquarie (i think it was Macquarie) was on the other side of the equation. They always extract their pound of flesh.
The difference though, is with time, a business with high barriers to entry, can afford to be 'over paid'.
So again just split it out. No headaches.
Very happy the share price is reacting so negatively. Hopefully share price can react more negatively!!!
Right now AZJ share price is in my 'no mans' territory. Not low enough to buy, not high enough to sell.
I want to buy more given global macro uncertainty in share market investing and AZJ business model.
