but I also feel as though whatever price that demerger company is listed at it will get hammered as certain players that don’t want to be associated with “obviously coal” plays dump out.
So ECR may become a good guy for dividends but will need to get hammered to multiples similar to (or less than) coal miners like YAL before it does.
Not only that, there will be big question marks over whatever leadership team gets put in since they will need to be “believers” in coal, something getting rarer amongst the elite/boardroom set.
