Can't see where you actually said "I was EXPECTING the Chinese gone" (no biggie) what I was merely pointing out in regards to the Chinese invested in NTU is that there are plenty of others that were not linked to the governments decision disposal decision. And as to those who the decision was directed to, I don't see anything untoward with their disposal tactic.
It is possible, and I'm sure they have the dollars to do so, set up many shareholder accounts that when banded together could really impact future voting, and now that they have been antagonised by the Aus Gov and NTU board, who knows what we may see.
The Chinese atm are well and truly here to stay.
Exciting times ahead.
