I interpret it as "we are keen to sell our stake in Zameen" which would be the best case scenario.
FDV took 100% ownership of Encuentra24 from OLX with the aim of spinning off the LATAM division on the Nasdaq. It would make sense for OLX/EMPG to return the favour and buy out the 30% of Zameen from FDV before EMPG IPO.
After all why raising $200M if not for an acquisition?
With the AUD and Aussie tech in the doldrums, foreign companies are sniffing for bargains (Nitro, Readytech).
It would be concerning if EMPG did not make an offer for the FDV share of Zameen. After all they know the business and its potential better than anyone.
