    It depends on the terms & conditions of the sales order & when the risk passes.
    Most companies use F.O.B terms & conditions that means risk passes to the customer on boarding the transport ship/plane.

    If this is the case you don't have to wait until the customer receives the goods to recognise the Revenue.
