Thanks for those views - not new to me, and I'm happy where I sit atm.

I like to be diversified and my principle strategy is to hold good plays over several commodities - Au, Cu, Nb, REE, U and still some Li at present but not iron ore, I cant understand or follow the ups and downs there.

The pace of change in the economy and in society is breathtaking - especially in countries like India, China having made the running for decades - as Keating opined in the Weekend Australian Magazine - the West is losing its moral right to lead - petty partisian politics and lack of culture is shattering our societies.
Just take for example the manipulation we see on the share market - and refusal by authorities to clean it up due to partisian politics of self interest. Use as example ANZ bank's manipulation of the bond market before placing 1.5 b of Govt bonds. So far bank has had to increase cash deposits by 750 m - for being a 'naughty boy', when you are 'good again' you can have your cash back. A fine maybe? - ASIC is thinking about that !!

Some will say it is due to migration - it's not. Migration just imports the problem into Australia. The World is restless and angry.
