Whilst Asia is a mess it is the consumer of the goods that we produce sell and use. 1 in 4 is Chinese on the planet. Australia relies on trade with Asian countries we wouldn't survive with out them. Our minerals go off to be processed by them our grains and diary products feed them.
We wouldn't have as successful society unless constant demand from them was there.
The farms wouldn't survive the beef and grains are shipped to the feed lots and silo's.
Have you travelled the Ord River Scheme in WA North lately seen the cotton and stock feed baled and sent to our Asian Neighbor's from there, we consume little of it. The massive wheat farms of Western Australia supplies the basis products for Mie and noodles to SE Asian Markets.
The Diary Farms of Bass Strait / King Island & Tasmania fill the shelves of Hong Kong/ Singapore/ Tokyo. supermarkets with dairy foods and other choice foods from the Tasmanian fields & oceans including the ocean salmon from SW Tasmania. We wouldn't have these industries if we didn't have consumption from Asia driving this.
The table wines from the Barossa Valley and Margaret River grace the tables of the best restaurants' of Asia.
Look at the trade figures we a very positive in trade with Asia not negative.
It is called trading Lockitt, so they build cars in Asia Cheaper than we can the market reacts to that.
Take that Tin Hat off and come out of the Garden Shed.
