This is like watching a slow-motion train wreck and will be a real test for the auditor - do they modify their reports once further information is supplied? It's all downside for them, any further supporting information/explanations supplied to support payments may have been created after the event. My best guess (with no inside knowledge) is that: (a) the company will never come back in its previous form, and (b) the only avenue for re-listing is based on a major reconstruct involving new shareholders, new management, and new business focus. If they can't achieve that, then I reckon the company is finished.
