My belief is based on 'impatience' and those that 'trade'.
Impatience is due tho those who want instant/short term gratification and Traders who hold two parcels of shares. Some for longer term and a parcel for trading. The latter buy on dips and sell on a rise, but still in the Coy with the former parcel.
My opinion but have seen this strategy many times when in the Broking Industry. Some extremely successful.
