My thought is that if the technology has no chance then Phase three will be stopped and will not be pursued.
The other thing is that the equity financing is just an affirmation that there is fund if needed. I am confident that the management will not allow too much dilution since the CEO is heavily invested as well. They may not even accept it once Japanese market started to roll
TEVA is just refocusing - the mere fact that they still invested via their subsidiary means they still believe on the technology.
For now - sitting still is the best course of action for me.
