I guess saying something along the line of "things doesn't happen overnight" is not enough to defend the statement itself. My sincerest apologies.

Was just alluding to the potential trends up to a point where post-acquisition a new set of questions will present themselves, like the stuff you mentioned. People will then be discussing the acquisition viability and how will the dilution affect the value.

Hence I came up with the conclusion of income-generation, as that will come so far down the line, after Mr. Market has done the thinking what this company is all about (i.e. potential for future expansion, profitability, caps, CRs, etc.)
