This post is just a thought that may or may not be worth any further consideration.Would it be feasible to look at the Argyle Diamond mine which is closing down as a plant that Lynas could use going forward>?I understand there would have to be some infrastructure built as it requires different process but as far as conveying system, site accomodation, plant equipment,qualified workforce,water [lake argyle], power [lake argyle hydro power],proximity to Wyndham Port 1 Hour away..close to major town Kununurra.I do realise its approx 1 day extra drive to get there from Mt Weld than it would be to Perth however Wyndham Port is a lot closer to Malaysia than Fremantle.It does seem the sort of investment that could attract investment from Government to develop the far north as they keep saying they want to....Anyway just an idea.
