lol these sought of semantic debates cannot be proven except over very long periods of time. And what 'worked' before may not 'work' in the future. There is alot of karma in investing, and so so many human beings draw comfort from drawing correlations from the past and extrapolating into the future.
I have outperformed over 25 years the 'index', so I will keep doing what I do.
On any individual stock including MFG I can be wrong, but collectively I am right. But then I am a tadpole, nimble, and with no investment mandate, so I can pretty much do as I please with my capital.
