it got nothing to do with follow the money flow it all to do with the disruptors, money flow just show it is a real force to be reckon with and will disrupt all fund managers
every dollar ETFs take from the market is one dollar less for fund manager business
Just like google and Facebook and Amazon every digital dollar they take, it one less dollar for old brick and mortal store and old traditional media
eventually these business can not command the margin they once enjoyed, they have to compete with the disruptor and hence less profit and more down side
