To be fair there are corporate governance reasons as to why it would've been a bad idea to sell substantial amounts of stock while he was still the head fund manager. Also potentially it is related to the divorce, not an optimal looking sell but neither is selling hundreds of millions of dollars worth a year or two ago, albeit for different reasons.
