Here's a snippet that might make you feel better Aussie Joe. When I saw this afternoon's ann. I thought to myself "here we go, what's the hidden message here." Years of being an investor in small companies has made me paranoid and I always worry more about what is not said in an ann. rather than what is said. It shouldn't have to be like this but there are so often two layers to an ann. One is what they legally are obliged to tell you and the other is what they want you to think they are saying......not that I have had any reason to think this of TIG as such but just that years of being beaten up by stocks has left me scarred and suspicious.

Anyway so I'm sitting here wondering about what wasn't said today and then it hits me and I think "Oh no, if the paperwork is held up then I bet production won't now start until February after the paperwork is finalized". So I pick up the phone and ring the number on the website but David their guy in Oz is unavailable and I talk to Sophie who takes a message......40 minutes later I am at my brother's house doing weights and my phone rings and it was the CEO himself Peter Balka ringing me from the mine site in Russia. I tell him what I was worried about and he says not at all. Production will be going ahead this month and will be starting in a few weeks. From what I have read I believed it was supposed to start early December but I take it now that it is still a few weeks away which is neither here nor there as far as I am concerned. Peter sounded very upbeat and assured me that nothing had changed in regards to the agreements and he reiterated what the ann. said regarding the tax laws covering three countries in Cyprus, Russia and Oz. He also added that in the northern hemisphere they take their holidays pretty seriously...Cyprus takes the Christmas period pretty seriously and Russia are big on the new year holidays which run from the 1st to the 10th of Jan. So they made it for the end of Jan to allow for all of that. He really seemed to want to emphasize that nothing else has changed.

I will conclude by saying, as all HC posters should do when they are summarizing a discussion with a company rep, that this is my understanding of what he said to me today. So if this is in error in any way blame me and not Peter.....but, mod's honour, that is what I understand to be the facts as told to me.
