IPH share price has been on a long term decline similar to QIP before it bottomed out around the 90c-$1 mark prior to bid activity.
Looks like QIP has been taking market share off IPH primarily using Sortify to me reading the presentations.
This is why IMO QIP has been targeted rather than IPH, aside from the much smaller size MC.
I can see why IPH would benefit from taking out QIP but personally I wouldn't want the IPH shares in exchange for my QIP.
Happy to hold if no bid happens & bank the dividends, or take the cash & invest elsewhere if the offer of $1.81ish eventuates.
