It's certainly interesting as to why GRV feel so compelled all the time to couple Alpha with another venture considering the potential numbers on Alpha appear highly profitable on its own. Why the sole focus cannot be on this project is beyond me.

I think both gobris & pooslice have valid points.

Carbon credits can be purchased to offset carbon emissions if required, although overall profitability would be reduce. However, based on previous announcements the "supercritical' water testing that is underway has hinted that emissions have the potential to be minimal..... so carbon offsetting may not be such a big factor anymore.

At the commencement of the Alpha project given the political climate at the time maybe the companys focus was different and offsetting carbon emissions was the priority consideration to the success or not of the venture.

So who really knows what's going on......
