I suppose, just like with consumer car insurance, you don’t say anything or admit anything while the claim is being handled by the insurer. Interesting to know if those type of insurance policy clauses take precedence over corporate commitments.
Re the EPA, there are sometimes temporary permits, while the full licence applications are evaluated and processed.
eg for storage, but not processing, and being a fairly new process it might take the epa a while to get their shit together.
