Interesting, I'm not sure at what point a sale contract can be accounted for.

Perhaps what's holding up the accounts could be a signed agreement to tip some money into an enviro bond or something? Which would be relevant to the accounting period - and if not signed off by the Mali Gov would explain the delay....but you'd have to think BOD would only agree to that enviro bond if the sale was also agreed to by Malian Gov.

So in that way the sale itself could be pending both Mali Gov & shareholder vote - and thus the next reporting period, but the enviro bond cash outlay be holding up the accounts?

Anyways seems a reasonable explanation is afoot for the delay in the accounts and people might hold off on the asx complaints & rage posting for a little while at least.
