In regards to proccessing lithium brine without evaporation ponds that takes a year or more Pure energy minerals can do it in under 12 hours economically at about US$ 2000 a ton but there's also geothermal lithium with potash credits if you look at Simbol materials who have been successful at unknown cost and Elon Musk buying in big time only to shut them down for a full takeover it appears ?
Looks like a legal dispute is imminent between LIT and LPD (PLP) owner of patented L-max and a shame PLP wasn't PWN aswell owner of patented K-max as to cash generating byproducts from L-max and cheaper to mine mica than spodumene maybe because there's no drill and blast and then crushing required ? but sometime next year we'll hear progress updates from the mini plant trials at ANSTO that PLS and LIT are paying the bill 50/50 because if lithium can become cheap and abundant they'll be more people who can afford what's made from it including in fibre optic cable and fuel efficient high mileage tyres and polymers (glue) for graphene, nano and quantum dots aswell as combatting global warming and air pollution which is on the agenda sparking a new industrial revolution
