    Your new shares should have a different number than say your axe shares

    Actually no, the HIN number for my ITM shares as seen on the automic website is
    the same HIN number that is on the CHESS statements for my ANZ holdings
    which is where I hold AXE. Thus it's the same HIN number therefore I would
    assume that if/when these ITM shares do appear in my ANZ account that there
    would be no reason why I couldn't trade them.

    And just like no one can sell my AXE shares presently (as they require the
    account logon), so no one should be able to sell my ITM shares.

    Am I still missing something ????

    I think there's something about your
    circumstance that is unconventional Chingy and it may have something
    to do with the fact that you hold three different parcels of AXE with different
    brokers......maybe
