I am happy that the ASX Is getting involved, but I don't know if they have legal justification to do this, and I have never seen them pull apart an independent expert report, question it and rebuke it, then tell shareholders they cant vote on it, and expose transactions to veto and collapse. Never mind without reason. Gut feel is not sufficient reason.
This is in my mind uncceptable. Is this the new model for the ASX because I would like them to do this for about 20 other stocks that I invest in too. But this is a very slippery slope, and I would never invest through the ASX if this is something they can do at their discretion.
I expect the pirates lawyers cutlasses have been drawn here. Very Soviet.
