That can be a ploy - It everyone wants out and a party buys the stock most people just exit. Not easy to get ASIC and co to take matters further if no money left in the company and no or few complainants. Very often the administrator needs money and creditors are not going to stump up money to have nothing to recover from anyway.That is why if it's going down make sure the attorneys will find nothing to feed off. If there are assets then everyone is prepared to have a go at the expense of creditors and then shareholders.
