The 3 week deadline was clear, the court has to draw a line somewhere. 5/6 asking for extensions, could there be a fair reason for that? It comes across to me like the applicants didn't take the deadline seriously, and they assume an extension is guaranteed? Yes the court might grant the extensions, but maybe not? It's a gamble, why would they leave it to chance like that. Personally if I was serious about my appeal then I wouldn't take the risk. The behavior is strange to me.
