I agree. Being a metallurgist and having worked with gravity circuits a lot I'd venture the increase in recovery is as much due to the higher feed grade as to them.
The beauty of what they're doing though is that when the recovery comes up they can push the whole lot a bit harder i.e. increase throughput. E.g. if the rougher gravity spirals are a lot better they'll look to push more feed through at a 70%+ recovery. Let's hope the mining units can keep up of if not they can even let a touch more lower grade through (at the higher tonnage) knowing the better recovery and higher Sn price will lead to higher net profit.
I've never met a mine manager yet who isn't greedy that way. We used to run equipment at least 20% above rating. (The mine manager still wanted more presumably 10's of thousands of TPY production). Good thing he didn't have a horse.
The whole lot is certainly starting to trend the way you want it.
