I think if it was all doughnuts (no significant differences on any of the outcomes) then it would be straightforward and would be released.
And similarly if it was strongly positive, it would also be relatively straightforward. Bear in mind its a small study so to show a strong positive significant result was going to be difficult statistically.
So, wishful thinking tells me there might be something there worth exploring in between those two outcomes.
They might be getting another statistician's opinion.
Because if there is something there, they need to be careful because the impact of a positive finding on the share price would be extremely positive.
