Some are comparing the Syrah funding announcement with what Volt will be applying for.
These are 2 completely different organisations. Syrah funding is with United States Inernational Deveopment Fund (DFO).
Volts application will be with the United States Deparmemt of Energy. (DOE)
It appears the funding is for completely different purposes as Syrahs funding can be used to further its in Country African Assets. Volts is to develop a business in the USA.
I am also interested as to how long the application process will take although its seems from the announcement that a lot of work has already been done to meet the application requirements.
This funding has been mentioned in past announcements so I'm sure that the process is well advanced.
