Mr Walker i tend to agree with your thoughts. It was a big claim to make that funding would finally be sorted out by the end of September '23. There have been a lot of us very very long term holders counting the days of September expecting an announcement any day! To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I appreciate that both the Lithium and Graphite markets at at an all time low and funding during this period was always going to be difficult. It was my belief that the recent release of the "Bunyu Feasibility Study" detailing Stage 1 development was part of the process to obtain the necessary funding. Bunyu has a very long mine lifespan and it will take 12-18 months to get it up and running once finance is approved. So that is why funding needs to happen now. How many times did we hear our former CEO Trevor Mathews tell the shareholders 'we have a number of interested parties and we are very close to finalising a deal'.
I just find it hard to comprehend that a CEO would make such a bold statement unless he was 100% sure of the result. Maybe tomorrow or Friday or another extended wait!!
