I dont disagree with you about the project or the pricing mechanisms

just think of it this way

ORG was 422 ish with oil teeting around 32.5 a year ago approx

if aplng cashflow rose and and fell with price of oil,

oil dipped in April I think and rebounded very quickly from -40 to be sitting firmly above 50 usd a barrel for quite some time this financial year... well above the 32 ish it was sitting before the quick crash.

well above the 32 this financial year, yet the cashflow for that project ...is now guided WAY way down.

such major reduction in cashflows this year will probably see writedown in the future as well.

If oil is way up since late last FY ,,,,,the business , regardless of operational performance hasn't delivered the cashflow, - this will definitley be a major shock imo.

in fact its now guided as significantly less than last FInancial year.
