To a point, yes. But I have seen many companies fail because of poor marketing of their product. Australian companies are notoriously bad at marketing and largely think the product will sell itself from it's own greatness. This contrasts with the American approach, where no matter how crap your product is, you market it like it's the only thing you'll ever need.
It is an unfortunate necessity in life to be a little extroverted if you want to get out and succeed.
