So the cost of a tavr procedure is about $60k of which the device is about $30k, so the operation costs $30k. We get reimbursed $25k. If the actual production cost is say $5k, then we are out of pocket $10k per trial op. Not that bad.
Then it is the cost of our competitors device and operation costs for the trial. Someone said medicare covers this. Is that fact?
