Saw on Yankuang's wechat account saying this doesn't affect their intention to acquire the outstanding shares. Also state it provides an opportunity for investors that want out but cannot due to the illiquid trading( guessing they mean the big shareholders).
YAL is actually the most profitable business under Yankuang, and they're trying to sell the idea that integrating YAL into Yankuang helps an investor to have less exposure in coal, to other businesses that have lower margins and profitability is just plain stupid.
Feels like the Chinese really didn't think this through before making such an offer. I really did think they have something up their sleeve when the offer was made.
