Nothing is certain in legal matters, so I'm still wary of the outcome. However if the ruling is in favour of COB, BPL gets diluted to below 5% and as per the agreement, has to leave the JV at a total cost of $0. For a number of reasons: ie clear plan/vision, value accretion and most importantly the ability to engage third party/downstream partner negotiations. This would be a big deal for COB.

In other news - Some chatter that Chinese entities are intentionally flooding the cobalt market to suppress prices in an attempt to acquire the last remaining cobalt smelters at low prices - makes for interesting times ahead for strategic non-Chinese owned cobalt assets like Thackaringa.
