Yes given experienced COOs or any position in RE with experience are thin on the ground it appears ARU are making sound like a coup in securing his services . 18 months in a gig at a penny dreadful seems he is over qualified.
But in all fairness give the guy a break. Lynas had NFI what they were doing all those years and changes from board level through to project team and see where they are today. Gotta start from somewhere and HATCH along with Stuart ka-ching role of consulting will deliver. Time will only tell.
Just don't like the idea of him being in another busy role when Nolan's will require full commitment.
