Just to throw another one into the mix, and that is looking at whether or not ARU could be considered a secure investment to potential investors.
As an investor wouldn't you like to have some ironclad assurance that the product that is looking to be produced, actually has a buyer.
Ok so looking at things realistically, do ARU really have any secure ironclad offtake agreements?
The agreements with Hyundai/Kia and Siemens Gamesa are only Binding subject to certain conditions.
Now one of those conditions is that there is a completion of construction and development of the project.
And in the case for Hyundai/Kia the that condition is to be satisfied no later than 30 June 2026
And in the case for Siemens Gamesa that condition is to be satisfied no later than 30 September 2026
Now we have seen that timeline for construction extends way past both the above dates, so where does that leave any sales guarantee?
Surely it must strike some that with all the talk of future supply deficit, how could it be so hard to sign up customers.
You would think that with all the spin out there, they would be outbidding each other, and whacking others off with sticks.
Lets also toss this one into the mix, and that is that at the same time we know that ILU is out there looking to sure up some OT agreements to satisfy some new conditions. Vying is a word that comes to mind ILU ARU
Just a little food for thought that maybe deterring potential investors here, and that's apart from other things.
