You could realistically put it that they have been given a get out of jail free card to terminate their agreement as to the terms of the agreement cannot be fulfilled by ARU, that's IF they choose to.
Now to me that's a red flag that potential investors could well be looking at.
Now if they were to renegotiate and move that date into the never never somewhere, that could instil some confidence there.
As we know, both Hyundai and their Kia arm are both investing in R&D for a RE free motor that is suitable for their EV needs.
ZF Friedrichshafen AG are a prime example that this can be done.
