If there's one certainty here it's that FAR and the Government would be well aware of what the other is doing. As the great Aretha said, it's called R.E.S.P.E.C.T. FAR is highly respected in Senegal and in turn is highly respectful of that Country and its Government. That's not to say Mr Sall's administration will give FAR all it seeks, but nor will it treat FAR disrespectfully. Had the WPL deal been approved - even implicitly - then FAR would have been notified. FAR worded today's announcement in a way that protected the Government's sovereignty . Very respectful.
I am proud to hold shares in a very well-run company. I'm sure we will do well. We just need patience.
