Given any dividends paid out will then have tax payable to the ato, a company buy back offer of shares at say a fixed price of 35c (with 2 stages of payment over 6 months) would be far more palatable option for most SHs!
this would to minimise tax and allow write off any other capital losses, including shares purchased at 70c in the ipo.
it sucks balls to have to pay tax on dividends, after wasting 2 years and realising 50% capital loss from the listing
