You would think bidders would be lining up given the distressed low-ball sale and rising oil price. Such incredibly bad timing for FAR when the pandemic hit but really there should have been hedging or something in place to ensure the finance didn't fall through. Very poor indeed.
If they kick the can far enough the oil pice might get to a level that financing may prove doable?????? Unlikely and I'm not sure we want to do it. Not even retaining and financing a small %. Anything goes wrong or WPL ups the costs again and we are dead and get zip for our trouble.
What a stuff up of a brilliant bit of exploration!
