Pretty certain it was stated in a news story that around 70% of shareholders who had cast were in favour, just a news story but it seems like a bit of a leaky ship so could have substance..
As for showing Brookfield the door if the original gets voted down they will without doubt finalise the revised offer and have another go, with or without board approval, which one feels they will give once all is out in the open and tweaked to suit. Brookfield have not worked this hard to walk away.
