Surely they must have known that Sibanye were going to walk, given Sibanye's financial position.
INR must have had other partners lined up - surely.
Or have the other potential JV partners also been spooked by some media analysts stating the project is marginal at best.
It's going to take some cojones for anyone to throw in hundreds of millions of dollars to become a JV partner right at the moment, given the state of the global lithium market, just go and read the latest PLS quarterly and report, it's a dire market now.
This could become a long wait, and if so, let's hope it concludes positively for INR shareholders, before the stock price gets to 7 or 8 cents, or less, because if there is a long wait, that's where it's going to fall.
The market is an impatient beast, and it punishes harshly.
You'll get an indication if things aren't right, if you see directors resigning, because they usually like to get out before having to admit failure and have it stamped on their resume.
And don't forget the court case.
This is not going to be an easy time for INR or it's shareholders.
The question remains, where is the new JV partner today?
