Some serious congitive dissoance in this thread. Sibayne was locked in at huge premiums to todays price. I would be surprised if a new JV partner would accept the same price and share split that Sibayne was going to enter at.
The only party that will benefit from Sibayne walking away is the new JV partner who secures a percentage of the company based on the steep discount of todays prices.
