I’m sorry but Zip cannot be the ref here just because the former CEO was of the same pedigree. In fact Zip is a terrible example to follow as they lumbered on at pathetic valuations for over a decade with shareholder outrage while watching from the sidelines how it’s really done by their rival Afterpay.
I agree if the market in which you plan to grow a business is not your own then YOU must base yourself in that market.
if on the other hand you are ok with borderline failure for the next decade pretending to run a business in another market then by all means sit on a beach in Sydney and dial in or not…
