I think you should have noted that that article is September 2017 and the dispute was settled in October 2017. I don't think it's relevant here as it was settled PDQ in my opinion.

Please note that I think some of the language is colourful and I am not suggesting that I am, able to add to it other than to say I googled the deal and this popped up. From what I read it looked like there are many sides to this story.
