Perhaps investors are spooked by the lack of a rapid thumbs up? The ACCC is trying to work out if airbnbs and motels are a competitor to campervans... weird but obviously travellers have a wide range of choices and those are not substantially lessened if the merger goes ahead. I think ACCC and NZCC approval are a foregone conclusion so this is one of the surest bets out there to my mind.
