If I were a competitor of Anteris I would just wait things out and wait until the company is in crisis mode again, offer a high interest loan bridging loan, and ask for incredibly cheap options to convert into a large % ownership stake, should the IP ever be commercialised. Later allowing a take over as a one of (if not the main) owner.
