The shares are trading at a 25% discount to their assessed 30 June NTA. I know of no other investment in CVC’s portfolio that will make an instant 25% after tax return. Moreover for every share bought back the NTA of the remaining shares improves. Best investment in town.
Indeed given prevailing interest rates it is still viable for CVC to borrow to buy back on market.
