It seems that there are different opportunities between Vocus, Vodafone NZ and Sky Networks, in particular : - past failed merger between Vodafone NZ and Sky Networks, - speculation now that Sky Networks may be interested to buy Vocus NZ, - and also what you mention above : Infratil and Brookfield potentially looking at Vocus.
These options will probably involve Infratil at some stage. Given the ability of Infratil to buy at rather low prices, it does not seem obvious that they may offer more than MIRA, unless they see strong synergies between Vodafone NZ and Vocus. Just for a question of price and potential synergies, I imagine Infratil more interested by Sky Networks (pure speculation from me, as I did not see anyone mentioning it).
